Ally learned her first pole spin over 15 years ago, igniting a passionate love affair that maintains its fervor until this day. She has an extensive performance history, having graced stages nationwide for over ten years demonstrating her flair for creating seamless character performances and exciting choreography blended with acrobatics, fire twirling and pole.
Ally has trained in a variety of dance styles, including Latin, Hip Hop, Bellydance, Ballet, Afrofunk and Dancehall, and brings this love of diversity into performing, choreographing and teaching.
In March 2013 she was chosen as a Finalist in the Victorian Pole Championships, and competed in May at the National Theatre where she embodied two of her biggest passions – 80’s dance and Pole – in a skillful yet comedic interpretation of Wonder Woman.
Ally Cat has been teaching at Bottoms Up! since March 2010, and absolutely adores working with students of all levels. There is nothing she loves more than seeing the smiles that come when her students master a new trick, or throw themselves into her fun, quirky choreography.
